Once you fix the bugs it is a rocking usable piece of musicĮquipment. ![]() So, I downloaded Kontakt 5 free, which has a better drum kit pop drums, and I simply dragged over my MT Drum Kits midi arrengements to a new midi track where I had Kontakt 5s pop kit. I have also used the kit with MT Power Drum Kit. But, I too think that the drum kit sounds harsh and thin, but I liked the simplicity of editing. Trying to get the required fundamentals out of something that isn't capable of matching It has the same bugs in it, Yamaha can't think of a way of improving the play surface and that's the toy side and what makes these things end up as dust collectors.
